Free Weekend & Break the Bank Challenge

A message to all the citizens, gangsters, bosses and kings to be! Crime Boss: Rockay City has just started a free to play weekend taking place on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the Epic Games Store! In an effort to have people experience all the shooting, sneaking, looting and heisting that the game has to offer, we are making it so anyone on these platforms can try out the game for free from today, April 10th, until end of the day Sunday, April 13th. 

On top of this, if you try the game and find that all the action scratches that heisting itch you’ve been looking for, the base game will be 75% off and all the DLC’s will be 50% on the previously mentioned platforms for a limited time. 

As we welcome the influx of new players we here at IGS and 505 games believe that a community wide challenge was in order. 

Coinciding with free to play weekend, is the BREAK THE BANK Challenge! 

Here’s how it works: 

  • There are 3 tiers of potential rewards that the community must work together to unlock by stealing, robbing and looting massive amounts of cash. 
  • Each tier reached will result in new information and a showcase of content that will be coming in future updates of Crime Boss! 
  • Tier 1 – Update 15 
  • Tier 2 – Update 16 
  • Tier 3 – Update 17 
  • Players must play in the CO-OP mode for their contributions to be counted. 
  • Players do not need to have real teamates in their CO-OP lobby, they can use bots. 
  • An initial tally of the money stolen will be revealed tomorrow on Friday, April 11th. 
  • Final results will be revealed next Monday, April 14th. 
  • We can only track the money stolen from players who have an internet connection and are online. 

And that’s it! This is the first community wide challenge IGS has hosted and we are excited to see what the bosses are capable of! We plan on doing more of these in the future for all sorts of rewards and even in game goodies!
